Renewing members are required to attend a range briefing prior to renewal and at least one club meeting within a calendar year. Usually, the range briefings are held prior to club meetings as well as on an individual or small group basis as needed. (Contact the Range Officer) Exceptions are July and December; no class held.
Motion passed at the December 2017 meeting: "Every member, new or renewing, must show legal capability per ATF guidelines to possess firearms via current CCH, handgun purchase permit (issued within three months) or an official background check each year at the time of payment of dues."
This can be done by presenting a current Concealed Carry-Handgun permit, pistol purchase permit, or an individuals obtained background check. This need only be presented and will not be retained by the club. If mailing a renewal, please send a copy that will be destroyed after verification.
Meeting Sign-In Logs:
The sign-in log for the range briefing and a second log for the club meeting serves as a record of who has attended one or both meetings.
The Members manual includes information on the Club Matches, safety policies and procedures, and the club bylaws.
The Range Use Manual describes the range areas available for shooters, appropriate targets, procedures, etc.
